Rated 5 out of 5 by 1reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by I work in a busy warehouse and use a box knife all day, 5 days a week. I've been through a lot of different types but only like the spring retracting type. This box knife is great. You have to push the blade out by sliding the thumb slide and it stays out only as long as you hold the slide with your thumb. When you take your thumb off the slide the blade quickly snaps back into the knife handle. It opens quickly and easily with no tools and the two halves are hinged at the rear of the handle and there's even another spring that pushed the halves apart to help open it up and you can store extra blades inside the handle.I tried the auto-retracting type that retracts when the blade leaves the cutting surface but they seem to be problematic after a few months and I got sick of the blade popping back into the handle when I didn't want it to. You have to keep pushing the blade back out over and over when doing a lot of cutting.I would recommend this box knife to anybody that works in a busy warehouse. It's built solid and works great. Easy to use and really safe. July 16, 2013
