Driving a vehicle with a magnetically mounted warning light is not recommended. Due to varying roof construction and driving conditions, the light could come loose and fall off resulting in injury or damage. The ability of the magnetic mounting system to hold on depends on several factors such as surface flatness, finish and the thickness of the metal. Repair of damage incurred by ignoring this warning is the sole responsibility of the user.
Please consider calling Grainger to discuss the several options for a “hard mount” version of this light. The phone number is 1-800-323-0620
