Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Radio - Poor Power Cord Design Power cord has a heavy transformer at the end of a flimsy cord. Milwaukee usually does a better job with their design. Can be improved by building the transformer into the radio housing and using a stronger cord. The radio is small enough to store in the truck and powerful enough to rock the jobsite. Onboard ipod compartment is a smart feature. Antenna is short enough to keep out of the way. Radio is tough enough to take the bumps and drops at a work site. Improve the power cord and this would be the best jobsite radio on the market. February 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Accessorize! I am a mail carrier in Fl. I go through about 4 boom boxes a year. I have been looking at this one for over a year now and thought I would like to give it a try, so my husband bought it for me for Christmas. Although it has only been a month now, the difference is like night and day! It's compact size makes it much easier to store in the vehicle as I go through my day constantly moving trays of mail. It seems to be much more durable so far and I seem to worry a lot less of it getting banged up. The only thing I would change is the volume. It has great sound, but inside the vehicle it is very loud. I need something that has a little more volume, but I can make due in lieu of the durability. I would like to see a carry bag so I can put the radio in the bag as well as headphones, accessory cords, and extra batteries. It should have handles as well as a shoulder strap. January 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the compact size I am so glad that someone has finally come out with a quality radio that is not the size of another bulky tool box! I have been using cheap rite aid and alarm clock type radios because I did not want to buy some GIANT radio. I HAVE WAITED FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR YEARS! Thankyou. Bought it, looks & works GREAT, love it. October 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Be envied The sound clarity alone will sell you. I have the compact 12v batteries and 2 will get me through a 10hr work day at near max volume. Exceptional reception, I recieve stations from over 50 miles away. Thought about the 18v model, but I can throw this in my tool box without taking something else out. Don't worry, it's plenty loud. Internal (weather proof!) phone/mp3 dock make this radio a stand alone in a competitive market. June 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product! 2 M12 Batteries last me over 10 hours of continuous play at medium volume. The radio is small but impressively LOUD! Sound quality is very good as well. If you are looking for a small compact radio for your job site / camping / garage / etc this is the one to get. It fits under my trucks' seat. June 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is an awsome little radio. Great reception, digital tuning, preset stations capable, you can use you M12 rechargable batteries from you power tools to run it. And you can plug in your favorite MP3 player and even store it in the front compartment. I Love it. It's small enough to take it anywhere and has great sound for a little radio. I use it at the Dodger game to listen to Radio broadcast of the game. I always get great reception. April 16, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by not a good design I am an electrical contractor. After having another milwaukee radio stolen from a site, I decided to purchase M12™ Cordless LITHIUM-ION Radio (2590-20). The radio works great, the problem lies with the large transformer on a small gauge power cord. In under 60 days the transformer has pulled free from the cord and rendered my radio useless. I hope the people at milwaukee tools read this and address the situation. March 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome radio Great sound for a little radio. I originally had the big one but exchanged it for the smaller one. Reception is a little weak at times indoors, but I usually find a place to prop it up near window when inside and it fine. If you like having music on the jobfriendships is the one you want January 14, 2013
