Rated 4 out of 5 by Great radio Received as a gift a couple of years ago. Just bought a battery & charger for use outside. Performs very well. Wish it had a CD player August 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Working So Far i just started renovations at home, mostly DIY stuff. longest tedious project is painting the whole house. tho the house is empty, there's still a lot of prepping. while i'm prepping upstairs, i'm still able to hear the radio from downstairs clearly, so the radio is certainly powerful enough, and i didn't have to push it pass the halfway point on the volume control made wasn't as well made as japanese products but for something that's made in China, it's doable. radio reception is crystal clear, i wasn't surprised because radios came a long way in getting reception, but was glad that i have no issues with it. i also love the color as well as the metal handles on the radio. and because it's made box-like, it's easy to store and easy to handle or "throw it around". i was disappointed that it was NOT bluetooth equipped but it's not a big problem. the more expensive radio has bluetooth but it's also a tool battery charger and i don't need that feature so i opt for the cheaper model and am satisfied with it. Rated 1 out of 5 by No Warning Stopped Working My first and probably my last Milwaukee product purchase. I expected this radio to at least last a year in the type of use I put it through. It sat near my machine at work until I took an office promotion and moved it to my office. I work in a clean factory, where the unit was moved from my locker area to my machine about once a week. About a week after I moved into an office, I plugged it into the same outlet that my company laptop plugs into, and pressed power. Nothing. Has not powered up since. Complete failure as a product that costs over $100.00. I will be tossing this into the dumpster, and replacing it with a Sony, that a few of the guys have used around here for over five years. Really a shame this is my first impression of Milwaukee tools. January 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Radio I use this radio by the pool and workshop and also in garage January 15, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by This one falls short for Milwaukee This product definatley falls short for me. Here's why I am retrning it: - it doesn't charge the batteries when plugged in - the sound isn't that amazing. others are better - there is no CD player - the radio is NOT built for outdoor weather January 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by How strange When I saw the size of it the fact that it has six handles none much good for one handed carrying the ac lead does not detach store away so tends to hang off the back I thought I had bought a lemon but then I put in one of my m18 battery's that last for days and the sound quality is fantastic and you sort of forgive it's short comings It would be great if it was smaller decent handle and a ac lead that stored better they would certainly be points I would have addressed before fitting a bottle opener lol September 20, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by good for two days I bought this radio to take camping. my buddy at work has one and it sounded good. got it on june 30 2014 didnt use it till my trip on july 10 2014. Got back on the 13 of july and put it away in the house. i was going to use it to put wood in the shed today and it wouldnt work plugged in or with a battery. tried fm/am/aux and nothing worked. For the money it costs three campfires of use camping isnt enough. Dont think i'll buy again. July 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutly Love It! I bought one of these in my first few months when I got this job almost a year and a half ago. I work at a CNC Machining company so it can get very loud in there at anytime. Every day it has played and charged my phone at almost its max volume for 8-12 hours a day and I have NEVER had a single problem with it. With all the abuse it had gone through from being dropped several times, metal shavings, small amounts of water(mostly rain), and all day use in the garage and outdoors. I absolutely love this and I have actually bought three of them since my first one, the other two being gifts. There are only two things that I did not like about it and one of them is that it cannot charge the battery pack while it is plugged in so you have to buy a charger for them as well and that there is no remote.
