Rated 5 out of 5 by Impact Driver failed after 2 weeks I am a professional contractor and I have been using the new M18 Fuel for about a month now. After 2 weeks of use with the Impact Driver, it quit working. I had a full battery and the LED light worked on the drill, but it wouldn't spin. I returned it and got another set in hopes that this was a fluke. I got another set because I have NEVER used a drill set this powerful! August 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Unbelievable runtime It runs and runs and runs it"s like a dream. I think it"s the best battery on the market. October 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Delivers more than promised Purchased the Milwaukee 2604-22 with 4.0 extended charge batteries partway through a deck renovation. This is the first of several such projects coming up and I knew the other drills I have weren't up to the task (not a slam against them; good value but overmatched for what I have planned). Did not expect the very long battery life burying screws into treated southern pine, nor the comfortable handle. Battery charge time is very acceptable in my opinion. I like the 4.0 batteries as they provide a nice counter-mass against the torque of the drill, which is very impressive. The limited auxiliary handle position is my only complaint and that is minor at most. Pros know this already but DIY'ers: please realize this is a seriously powerful drill and can really cause damage to your wrist if you are drilling or hammering and you snag the bit or screw. 725 in-lbs translated through approximately a 5" centerline distance between the bit or screw and the center of the handle is equal to roughly 145 lbs of force on your wrist/hand. Use the aux. handle if you are unsure. Just saying. Great product! September 14, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Works good It works very well but the extra weight is not much but the smaller 2.0 I find much easier when using tool for long periods of time. February 15, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Compared to DeWalt - chose Milwaukee Best drill I've ever owned. My current DeWalt NiCd tool set needed new batteries and a replacement drill, so it was time to look at Lithium Ion. This drill has more power than the others I looked at based on my first-hand comparison; combined with the wide range of tools available, I was sold on Milwaukee. I'm not a fan of the side handle design. Sure it seems sturdy enough, but it's two positions only - both sticking sideways - meaning I can't rotate it down for storage - it must be removed. I think anyone who touts the hammerdrill function as a great thing has never used a rotary hammer. Sure, this will get the job done in a pinch if you're installing tapcons or something similar, but I wouldn't think of using this for anything larger than 1/4" anchors, much less anything that has to penetrate to the other side of a block, brick or concrete wall. I don't consider this a negative though, as hammerdrills aren't really designed for anything more than this. My DeWalt NiCd set served me well, but I just sold it all for Milwaukee Red Lithium. Rated 5 out of 5 by AWESOME TOOL! I have had every brand of cordless tool on the market, and the new FUEL Brushless system is by far the best hammerdrill out there. December 20, 2012
