Rated 4 out of 5 by Cordless drill ice auger I'm an ice fisherman and drilling holes in the ice manually was getting a bit too much. There have been a number of articles recommending adapting the Milwaukee ½ cordless drill with 4Ah ion batteries to a standard ice auger…..mine is a 6" Strike Master, Mora. I've had it out on the ice twice and both times, I've drilled 40+ 6" holes, 10 to 14" ice, at 20F …..On one battery! My only complaint was the T handle. The groove in the frame appeared to have crack and a piece of it fell off. Consequently, the T handle kept falling off. I returned it to the store and they replaced it. I have not read any review with this problem. I'm hoping, this was a random defect and not a design defect. February 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by One Powerful, Long Running Drill! I use this every day. I live in Maine, and it can get cold here. I was very disappointed with several V28 batteries in the past, as they would not hold a charge, and could not be used in cold weather. So I was cautious about this drill's batteries. But I am very pleased with this drill! I keep it in the truck, and it works, cold weather or not. On another note, to me, run time is king, and I'm finding that this drill's run time seems to go on forever! Yes!!! : ) Belt hook is only a couple dollars; I ordered it online! And finally, although the case has no room for a drill index, I just cut an opening in it to fit them, so it works just fine! January 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Decking trailer/trucks and 2x4s to steel This sweet tool can install 2 to 4 inch planking to steel truck and trailer frames as well as 2x4s to steel pipes used as fence posts using pre drill self taping steel decking screws. No impact needed! Buy what you like but do not snivel if your brand of tool cannot do a real days job!!! I found the M 18 hammer drill very well priced (not over priced)for what you get. Rated 5 out of 5 by Unbelievable Power Every time I use this tool I can"t believe the power and the battery run and run and run. Drilling holes and screws with a big diameter isn"t a problem for this powerdrill. I think it"s the best drill on the market. October 1, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Used about half a dozen times and already died. Had great power when it worked. Don't think they have all the bugs worked out yet. February 11, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by power to spare Awesome power output. Be carefull when drilling big holes, If the bit catches the hand WILL hurt. February 3, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by High pitch "chirp" Just as the revolutions of the drive come to a stop, there is a very high pitch "chirp" sound that actually becomes irritating to my eardrums. I don't know if this sound it characteristic of the brushless motor, but I've yet to try another to compare with. Other than that, it is a great drill. June 17, 2012
