Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product Excellent tool, I'm installing my second set of brushes and I've been hard on this poor thing but it's never let me down! July 15, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good Performance........ Poor Design I bought this sawzall to replace an older model of the V18 series. Only replaced because Milwaukee changed the battery mounting style and I needed to add additional cordless tools to my arsenal so I bought a whole new kit of four tools. When I bought this tool I didn't realize that the shoe wasn't adjustable but then decided that I would be OK without it. BIG mistake! Why they decided an unadjustable shoe would make this a better tool is beyond me. Upon firing this tool up I was impressed with the speed and power. But, the problem is there is this big rubber "collar" around the end of the tool that totally blocks the users line of sight. Previous models have a smaller collar AND they are stepped back further which doesn't block the line of site. Wishing I would have looked more closely at this before I bought it. I expect more from Milwaukee! February 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rolls Royce of battery tools This is the by far the best tools you will ever use. The guys at my job ask if I have stock in Milwaukee. I made them by all the 18v tools you sell and got rid of the Dewalt. Now we are buying seconds of everything because guys are fighting over who has the cordless versus the corded. We fix the large container cranes for the largest shipping company in the world and these tools have taken alot of the effort we put in out. Rated 3 out of 5 by good tool, poor material It works great while it holds together but in the last year two have broken on me April 25, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Dont get a bit stuck!!!! Don't get a bit stuck!! Take apart is not easy. No help from Milwaukee on the matter. No replacement parts sold for this problem as well. Very very poor design. Should have easy way to remove stuck bits. Sorry I purchased now I have no alt but to purchase a new tool. Wont be a Milwaukee!! April 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best tool I've ever owned Gets the job done quick and easy. Looks pretty much the same as other drill/driver combos out there but once you've tried the Milwaukee, you'd know the difference. The product feels solid in the hand, works intuitively, has an led light which comes in handy, and a very good battery life too. March 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A great tool that get the job done Recently I had to replace my garage door. I only had an old cheap nicad drill and a 30 year old corded Milwaukee drill from my fathers contracting business. I knew the Milwaukee drill had so much torque would probably put the screws right through the door. I picked up a Hitachi drill driver combo that was on sale thinking it would be fine for casual around the house work. It couldn't even put a hinge screw in the door, it had zero guts. I took it back the same day. I bought this driver in a drill driver combo and couldn't be happier. I also used it to take a car door apart in seconds. This tool has the power I need, when I need it. I don't use it every day, but when I do it never disappoints. My dad bought dozens of Milwaukee tools and I know why, they get it done. December 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hands Down I am a professional in the plumbing trade and I can tell you "hands down" that this sawzall is the best cordless recip saw I have ever owned. I have tried other brands that had cheap plastic construction and terrible battery life but I am pleased beyond imagination with this product from Milwaukee. It's probably a bit heavier than some recip's out there on the market but there's a reason Milwaukee has the "Nothing But Heavy Duty" slogan as a part of their marketing. July 18, 2012
