My Question, Is these sizes that are listed 3/32, 1/8, 5/32, and 3/16. are they considered the shank size of the rivet(Mandrel)?
Because I have a rivet that has a shank of 5/32. I do not want to buy this tool if it will not handle this bigger size rivet. Thank you for any information that you can give.

Answer:
Grainger part number 4X577 is designed for blind rivet installation. The size diameters refer to the rivet body diameter; not the mandrel (shank). Blind rivets are “sized” by the rivet body, and not the mandrel. Typically a ¼” rivet will have a .151 size mandrel; 5/32” is .156. Grainger part number 4Y128 will set a ¼” rivet; if that is what you actually have. Please consider calling Grainger with specific details to allow for a discussion on options. The Phone number will be 1-800-323-0620.
