Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Best saw on the market as of right now but again the problem with this and all other saws is that they no longer hold the blade. NEED TO GO BACK TO THE OLD ALLEN BOLT BLADE CLAMP. Terrible what the manufacturers did to these saws. This one is the strongest, fastest, cutting saw yet but I have cut the shaft which is also made of weak hollow steel now and installed the old allen style lock to hold the blade. October 12, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good saw but... The City of Spokane Solid Waste Dept.uses this type of saw in the removal of refrigeration compressors after removing the refrigerant in standard household refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners. We process approximately 10,000 units per year and not counting repairs wear-out 10 to 12 sawzalls in that time (all brands). The biggest problem is the blade holders (clamps) not holding blades after 30 to 40 units. The Makita's out of four other brands were the most problematic in this area. I personally would own this sazall. It's comfortable to use and powerful but what we do is extreme duty and it just does not hold up (more actually does not hold on to the blades). June 19, 2012
