According to the manufacturer, this switch has a 30 watt rating and a DC voltage rating from 24V to 120V and an AC voltage rating from 110V to 220V.

We do stock float switches that will work in hyrolic fluid, however, this switch is not a great choice. Please call us at 1-800-Grainger so we can discuss your project in greater detail to find a more appropriate switch.

I am finding a level switch for liquid(density 8.1 lbs/gal).
it is lighter than water.

Hello,
Float switches are usually not dramatically affected by that kind of density, 8.1 LBS is about what Gasoline is and this float will work in this. The only concern I would have, is the flammability of the fluid. That being said this will work.
