Rated 4 out of 5 by IMO I think this mag drill works flawless. I have used this machine many times over as far as it not having reverse this does not effect me .I only use annular bits it is not for tapping. If you want to use it for fluted bits with the optional chuck then you may need reverse so this machine may not be for you. Let's face it if you want a mag drill why wouldn't you use a annular bit. They produce a perfect hole with almost no effort, not to mention you get more cuts out of 1 bit. Hundreds of cuts before you have to sharpen them oppose to a fluted bit. Little more grip with a little less lip... Hope this helps I love my slugger2 ..oh and it's lighter than others April 24, 2014
