Rated 5 out of 5 This bit drills cast iron. I did, however, break the bit before drilling all of the way through a 1" cast iron tab. Not sure if it was an operator error or that the bit wasnt strong enough to survive the pounding it recieved. I for one am not convinced that the bit wanted to finish the job ..it lacked discipline. July 1, 2013
