I had this timer installed on a water well approximately 1 year ago. No problems

Sometime over the last month the timer wheel no longer advances. Checked the wheel and it appears to be tight.

The manual on/off switch works okay and I can activate it manually.

From what I see there is only one repair part, the motor.

Is there any other logical reason for it not to advance?

Sure could use a simple illustrated repair procedure.

Final question, should I order a new motor??

Answer:
According to the manufacturer, something may have gone wrong with the motor. The replacement motor number is WG1600-11, Grainger Parts #1462811. Also according to the manufacturer, there are no detailed replacement instructions. There are 4 screws, 2 that hold the motor in place and one for each of the 2 wires on the motor.

Please call us at 800-323-0620 so we can help order that motor for you.
