Is the return stroke powered by a spring on this drill or is it powered pneumatically?
(Mainly concerned about the bit or whatever attachment is on the end, not the driver/piston)

Answer:
Hello Peter,
The return on this is spring loaded, this is so the unit can reciprocate or move up and down. There is a latching device that holds the bit in the end, it is an over center device that keeps the bit latched in the end. I hope this answers your question, thanks for using Grainger Ask & Answer!
