Rated 5 out of 5 by 1reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Based on my research of this product this is supposed to absorb high frequency sounds like the ones generated by Air Conditioner blowers/fans. I was skeptical and felt uneasy spending $140 for something that might not work. Well, I cut 1/2 a piece (4 pieces come in the box) of this acoustic foam to the duct work underneath my AC and am thrilled with the result. seems like 60-80% of the high frequency noise is gone! I will be installing more foam on the walls around the AC unit to further reduce noise coming out of the utility closet in my apartment. October 30, 2013
