Answer: 
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

There is not enough information provided to give an acurate answer.This relay is a low voltage time delay designed for AC and heat pump applications. This is not designed as a staging control for electric heat. I recommend calling our HVAC tech support team at 800-472-4643 to discuss options and application.

Can this relay be used as a Delay ON relay. That is a delay between Applied power to the relay and the relay closing and applying an output to the Load.

Requirement coil 10 - 18 vdc/vac 2 - 5 Amp Same for Load

Function: Delay low voltage from A/C thermostat control, from immediately restarting compressor after adjusting the thermostat. To prevent compressor lock-up during run-stop-run sequence.

Answer: 
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following. This relay is an off delay and is used to provide extra run time for a systems fan to purge conditioned air from the ducts. The maximum amp load on the output is only 1 AMP.
