Rated 5 out of 5 by A tight fit for a standard box, but got it in.Works and looks Great! January 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to install, works great & charges quickly. Charged a completely dead iPod in about 1hr. Did not get a chance to meter the USB output, but seems to be as fast as a standard wall charger. Best part is no longer having to keep adapters around for every type of device I own, straight to USB. Plan to buy several more and might even re-do the entire building with them. November 26, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by This is so bad that on more than one occasion the battery percentage has gone down instead of up after an hour on the charger. More commonly we have found that it just takes WAY too long to add any significant power to our cell phones. We're back to using plug-in chargers plugged into this 110 outlet. November 21, 2013

Charge two iPads

We have a Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems USB15X2W USB Charger Receptacle and when charging two iPads yesterday the outlet became hot and later, started blinking a green light. Is this too much power to pull at one time?

1 Person needs an answerI have this question too

The UBSB15X2W can deliver up to 3 Amps when charging devices. Two iPads with a battery level of zero requires 4 Amps to charge. The UBSB15X2W will cycle off if the load is too large. When the battery of your iPods are at zero, we suggest charging one at a time. The UBSB15X2W can charge two iPads simultaneously when the battery levels are at 50% to 75%.
