Rated 5 out of 5 by For the price this is a great vacuum. We have 7 cats to it has to handle the cat hair and cat rocks from their litter boxes. We have had the vacuume about 4 years and we just changed out the filters it works almost like new. I have bad allergies and this definitely helps. April 21, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by It did work great but now.... Nope! I got the vacuum not even 3 years ago and I don't even have a lot to vacuum. I live by myself so think 7 room types, in 2 1/2 years it keeps turning itself off. Now upset my vacuum doesn't work, I took the whole thing apart, screws and all and cleaned the filter and everything else that needed to be cleaned. I did the flash light check to see if I got all the clogs. And it still turns off! Help me I just want to vacuum my floors!!!!! Also it stinks that the 1800 # is only mon to Friday !! Is it time to get a new one? March 29, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by LOSS OF SUCTION I'm on my third one and I've had the same problem with all three. They have all lost suction. I have done all the trouble shooting they say to do and nothing helps. Very frustrating that I have to call customer service again& try to get this exchanged again. Tired of packaging this thing up, hauling it to ups and waiting on a replacement. Couldn't be more disappointed and frustrated.I have a very busy schedule and shouldn't have to waste so much time on this. March 9, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Runaway belt Bought vacuum and on the first use the belt came off the metal rod. Had to put it on three times to finish the floors. Returned the vacuum for another one. With this one I'm lucky to get one complete floor cleaning before the belt comes off. Hoover used to be the Cadillac of vacuums but now it's a piece of Chinese junk equivilent to a Yugo. Rated 2 out of 5 by great on carpet, not much else After owning this for about 2 years I have to say that I am dissapointed with this vacuum. It does well on carpet, but poorly on linoleum. The hand suction is virtually useless. save your money and buy something higher end. November 6, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by This vacuum is very cheaply made. We got one for our office space, and it lasted a little over a year. It has plastic parts on the bottom that are broken (it's all plastic). The motor is now so noisy that even with earplugs it's almost unbearable. This is a disgrace to the good name Hoover used to have. October 24, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Belt Broke on second use! Hello I just purchased this vacuum less than a week ago and I was impressed on how well it cleaned my carpet the first time I used it. I plugged it in and began using it for the second time about a week later and noticed half way through the second room that it was not picking anything up. When I flipped it over the belt was broken. Very disappointed. If the belt is going to break that easily it should at least come with additional belts. I just purchased some and will try it with a new belt but if they just continue to break I will be returning. October 22, 2013
