Explosion-proof housing helps to make this hazardous location limit switch suitable for use in dangerous indoor and outdoor locations. The flame path in the switch housing is engineered to contain and cool hot gases and fumes that would otherwise cause an explosion outside the switch. Use in grain elevators, offshore drilling, petrochemical and waste treatment plants, paint booths, hazardous waste-handling facilities, pipeline valves, and maintenance equipment. Applications include control valves and actuators, petrochemical plants, conveyors, and material handling.
