Either type product can be used, importance is to follow the instructions of the each individual product. Life of mixed water will range from 3-6 months depending on the product used.

Only one product should be used at a time.

Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following:

Yes, any eyewash preservative, additive or solution by any of the eyewash manufacturers can be used in all of the gravity fed tank type eyewashes.

Depending on the version of Grainger.com you have you will either see a tab labeled as MSDS and a link then to view/print the MSDS.
