Answer: 
Technically, the Honeywell TH3110D1008 thermostat does not have an anticipator. What it does have are called Cycle Per Hour (CPH) settings. When you set up the thermostat you chose the setting that matches the type of heating system you have. The CPH settings in the TH3110D1008 range from 1 to 12, giving the installer a full range of settings to optimize the operation of the heating system it is installed on.

Anticipators were, typically, used in mechanical thermostats to help achieve a more steady cycle rate for heating and cooling systems. In heating the anticipator was a manually adjustable resistor that was set to match the amount of current coming from the system to the thermostat. In cooling it was a fixed resistor.
