I see that this item 6DLY7; HONDA Engine Driven Pump, 49 cc has electronic ignition. Does this means that it can go on when pressure reaches a certain level automaticly?

I need an engine pump that would turn on by itself when the water pressure in my house is low.

Also, is there any other electronic ignition pump with a lower cost?

Thanks,
Ernie

Answer:
Hi Ernie---sorry, but this and all other gasoline engine powered water pumps offered by Honda are recoil (pull) start only. "Electronic ignition" refers to the type of ignition system, not to be confused with electric start, which means the engine has a battery and starter like a car/truck. Honda does not make any pumps with electric start.
