Answer: 
According to the manufactures specifications this unit can be operated on either 24 volts DC or 24 volts AC. When using the 24 volt AC option the unit is rated for intermittent use with a 10% Duty cycle and 2 minute max “on” time. Thank you for using Grainger Ask and Answer.
