But once I got home, I noticed a warning "Do not take internally". Given that I am planning on replacing the kitchen sink and faucets, that might be a problem.
So, does any one know, is this stuff safe for a kitchen faucet, or is it intended more for industry applications?
The manufacturer states this product is safe for potable (drinking) water. It has not been tested for consumption as a food contact item by the FDA which is why it is labeled as ‘Do Not Take Internally’. For lubrication of faucet stems you should not have an issue with this item.
