Rated 3 out of 5 by the Hanna dist3 meter is easy to use, and simple to calibrate to a known standard, using the small included yellow screwdriver. The meter is not well sealed, and after a year or so, moisture corrodes the inner contacts on the probes, making calibration impossible. SO, if you buy one, take it apart, and put a dab if conductive grease sealant on the metal pins of the circuit board where they connect with the carbon sensors inside the body. Otherwise, it will die after 12 months or so. August 29, 2013
