Rated 1 out of 5 by This product is JUNK! I bought 9 kits and only one was usable. The other 8 all blew the hoses off the cans as soon as the red knob was turned on. The stuff spewed out all over everything. What a mess. For the one unit that did work, one can ran out before the other; some of the foam never cured properly and is still soft and squishy. Rated 4 out of 5 by I agree with the comments above. This is a good product, but be prepared to buy a lot of it. The 50$ package gives three to four times as much foam as a typical "Great Stuff" can. But the price was more than ten times as much. August 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Real easy A bit expensive, but works great. It's nice for filling in those areas that a tube foamer leaves a bulky mess June 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works well. Important to understand and follow instructions. Because the product is costly, it is worth taking the time to understand the use of the product and the valve system clearly before using. We were able to cover a satisfactory area with each kit by planning carefully. Applying the product within the recommended temperature range assures the foam will spread evenly. With care, we were able to keep overspray to a minimum. Our application: Restoration of hot tub structural foam after repair of jet piping (to restore shell enclosure strength.) March 26, 2012

I can stick my whole hand under my siding in some spots and sill because my house is 100+ years of age so bugs and mice can get in at that point

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following: Grainger part number 4KK28 is designed to be used as an insulation layer.
This will be waterproof, has an agent added to discourage rodents and pests. You may have to use this in layers to fill large gaps, it expands very aggressively, and cures quickly (cuttable in 5 minutes, full at 1 hour). For more detailed information, please call Grainger at 1-800-323-0620. Thank you for using Grainger Ask and Answer
