Rated 1 out of 5 by Bought one lasted about 5 years. After the motor died not the pump bought another one. only lasted 1year and 3 months. Just out of warranty. Bought a SPX for less $$$ and has been working great with no problems. Save your money and time and buy another brand. This is cheap overpriced foreign garbage!!!! September 25, 2014

I have a similar setup to this unit but it tests at 1000psi I was wondering if I could turn up adjustment on the side to get more pressure. it has a 1hp 110volt motor and a 2 gallon reservoir. The check valve is CV08-20

Thanks

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following:

This item does have an adjustable rate so it can be brought down from the 1500 psi if you needed it to. Unfortunately we cannot comment on your exact unit as we do not have any specs to verify what your unit is capable of. You may want to double check your owner’s manual to verify what your unit is made to withstand.
