What is the height (in inches) of the bottom shelf lip? We would like to be able to store 2 carboys on the bottom shelf. I need to have a minimum 4" lip surrounding the bottom shelf. Do the shelves come in a solid, leak proof material (as opposed to the grated shelving shown in the picture)? If contents of the carboys were to leak, I would want the shelves to contain the mess.

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them that the lip on the bottom shelf is 2 inches under the handle and tapers to 1-1/4 inches. The grated shelf material is standard. It may be possible to order the cart in a solid shelf material but it would be considered a special request order requiring a minimum of approximately 100 carts.
