my eyewash station at work has this product next to directions that say open bottle and put directly in eye. so i did due to irritation i was having. started burning very bad and started turning very RED. i called poison control and gave them details. they said go home immediately and wash out for 15 to 20 minutes. i did and is now felling better. P/C stated that if grainy feeling occurred still, then to see an eye doctor. will this mess up my vision at all? please i would love to know what you guys think and suggest....

Answer:
The G1540BA- (Additive) 2LVL5 is to be used for adding to Potable Water for Guardian Portable Eyewash G1540. We would recommend you seek Medical Consult if irritation is occurring still. Located on Bottle and MSDS, the following:
WARNINGS: Do not use if seal is broken or missing, do not allow contact with eyes prior to mixing with potable water according to directions.
In case of contact with eyes in undiluted form, flush with clean water. If you experience any eye pain, change in vision, continued redness, or irritation, or if condition worsens after treatment at the eye wash station, immediately consult a physician. Keep this and all chemicals out of reach of children. Do not change the dilution or add any other ingredients.
