Hello -- in this unit, does the eye wash turn on separately from the shower? If so, how do you turn on the eye wash? Also, are there OSHA specs for this type of a unit and does this unit meet them?
Thank you!

Answers

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and we have been advised by them of the following: the eyewash is activated with the push plate near the bowl. The shower is activated with the pull rod which hangs down from the shower head. OSHA says the emergency eyewash and shower units need to meet ANSI Z358.1 requirements. The showers need to deliver 20 gallons of water per minute for 15 minutes and the eyewash needs to be able to deliver .4 gallons of water per minute for 15 minutes. This unit meets the ANSI requirements.
