The manufacturers inspection requirements say to check units on weekly schedule to ensure unit has adequate levels of flushing fluids. The unit is green and yellow. There is no place that a water level can be visually inspected without removing the water cap which could introduce bacteria to the unit. What am I missing?

Answers

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and have been advised by them of the following:

There is generally a bacteriostatic additive that comes with this unit that you would put into the water to keep bacteria from building up. They suggest you change the water in the tank every 120-180 days. The only way to check the water level would be to open the cap, but the additive that's in the water will protect it from any bacteria as long as you keep up with the maintenance on the eyewash.

Please contact your local branch and they can connect you to someone in Safety Product Support to see if the stickers are available separately. It will most likely be an item Grainger will need to source for you.
