Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following:

The manufacturer states this unit has no minimum pressure requirements to operate and is able to read a flow rate as little as 1 GPM, but will not read less than that. Additionally, they state it will not reduce flow rated of fluids passing through it.
