Rated 5 out of 5 by Compact set up, Easy to roll around Bought last fall. easy assembly, battery charger works good.I just gave it a performance run and was satisfactory. Bought it as emergency power source. Electric service has been 100%.So we have not been able to give it at true test. April 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great generator for the value We just purchased the GP7500E. Assembly took about twenty minutes and was simple. After adding the oil and gas, I pressed the start button and it was running in seconds. I have only ran it for about ten minutes so far. It is a little louder than I expected but nothing I can't deal with. It is piece of mind to know if the electricity goes out our essentials are covered. March 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love the stability of the Generac's power supply and the convience of the electric start. During the ice storm of 2013 our areas' power was out for 8 days. I borrowed my brothers Generac4500 and was impressed with it's ability to supply power for services of our rural property. When you are in the country and you loose power it includes you water supply and with horses it was essential that we had a constant and dependable power supply for this period. We have since purchased a Generac7500 with electric start and it is able to supply stable power for our whole house. We have used it recently when the power was out for a day and we never missed a beat. March 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This Product has Great Features I have owned a 5000 watt Generac generator for almost twenty years and it has never let me down. It has a rope start on it and my wife and I both are now in our seventies and have difficulty pulling the rope to start it. I felt it was time to get a another generator with electric start. I purchased the Generac 7500E and it starts beautifully. This product has some great features. I like the low noise level, the ease of operation and the features like the hour meter, the built in gas gauge, battery charger and outlet covers. I use it for home back up. I know that I will be protected in an emergency. Great Product!!Roger 73 March 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by 2nd Generac portable. I purchased my 1st Generac Portable, a 5 KW, 25 years ago. We lived in a suburb with frequent power outages. Since then we have relocated 4 times and it never failed me. The only problems were it was a "pull start" (I am 75 years old) and my power requirements have increased.I purchased another Generac. I wanted to stay with a winner. The 7500E powers my entire home, (and the air conditioning), and it starts at the flick of a switch.I gave the 5KW to a young fellow, a new home owner recently married. We had a power failure 2 weeks ago. Now instead of one happy Generac owner, there are two. March 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Everything about this generator seems Great! I live on a farm with some livestock. Water is a must year around. Can't afford to be without electricity. Now that I have my new generator I won't worry about that any more. I'm impressed with the quiet running of this unit. GP7500E. March 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by GP7500E Just unpacked my new GP7500E. Easy setup to get running. Powered a few items just to test the generator. Will be easy enough for my wife to use before I can get home. Only disappointment was that there wasn't the extra cord included (twist lock to 3 plugs) but not a deal breaker. March 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Able to power everything I need in the house. Transports easily, powers most of house to include my heater, refrigerators, and most of lighting. Easy to use. March 6, 2015

Answer:
In order to run on natural gas, you would have to install a conversion kit in your generator. Please call us at 800-323-0620 so we can discuss this in greater detail.

Answer:
There are two ways to use this generator. One is to roll it out, start it up and plug in standard wall plugs into it to operate 120VAC devices. The other way is to purchase additional accessories such as a transfer switch, power inlet box and a cord to bring power to the transfer switch from the generator, The second way is a more permanent way and safer than the first method. Call Grainger's Technical Support Team for more on your installation options.
