Rated 4 out of 5 by Installed this unit as an air conditioner for an IDF room. Looks like it will fit the bill and is working well so far. I'm taking a star for the overall construction and lack of redundant controls on the unit. Don't lose the remote!A nice accessory is Grainger's 6AWT9 sight glass that installs on the liquid line. I am ordering the 35 foot refrigerant line set for #13r412 and 13R413 A/C units. Is there a longer control wire or can I just lengthen what I have.

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

You can not splice additional wire as it will cause a voltage drop to the indoor unit. If you need longer control wire you will want to replace it with one run. 4KA66 is a possible solution at 50'.

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

The indoor unit is 36-1/4" wide, 11-1/2" tall, and 8-7/8" deep. This unit will require 7.5' from the bottom of the unit to the floor, 6" from the top of the unit to the ceiling, and 5" from the sides of the unit to any wall or obstruction.
