Answer: 
Unit will require a drain hose when it is in the dehumidification mode. When it is in a standard AC mode it has a tray built into the bottom much like a residential refrigerator to capture the excess condensation. Typically the heat from the condenser will cause this to evaporate, but in a high humidity setting it will need to be emptied.

Answer: 
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following. There is no set amount of square feet that these units will cover. To find out how many btu's would be required to cool your space a heat load calculation would need to be performed. There is a chart on page 4176 of our catalog that can give you a rough idea of potential btu's required, but it is only to be used as a guide. Thank you for using Grainger Ask and Answer.
