Grainger has contacted the product supplier and have been advised by them of the following.
"This unit has a maximum exhaust hose length of 4.5'" The unit can be damaged if the exhaust hose exceeds 4.5'.

Answer: 
Per the owner's manual during the dehumidifying mode, you will need a garden hose (sold separately) to drain the condensate from the unit.
The hose may then:
A. Discharge into a drain that is lower than the unit.
B. Be connected to a condensate pump (sold separately).
