Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a great product with great pay back. The product is great for monitoring issues with equipment to help make the right decisions in a timely fashion. Being able to use the software to create a report is a major help in maintaining work history on equipment and creating PM Plans to keep our equipment performance levels high. October 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product has it all We have been using this product out in the field for the past few weeks and have been very pleased with all it functions. We are still discovering new things it does for us and our customers daily. It's a easy to use tool with functions that make it easy to demonstrate what is going on in the customers home. It has helped our company gain customer by showing them that we are always looking for new advancements in technology, plus its easy to use so even my stubborn technicians have been able to learn how to use it and are enjoying the benifits it brings to the job site. We are mainly a residental service company and still have been able to use this product and benifit from it.Thanks. October 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Package That Has Many Uses In An Industrial Environment We have been using this metering system in our facility for a few months with great results. It is fast becoming our go to meter, with new uses coming to light each time we take it out.One of the greatest features is the increased safety this system provides, allowing readings to be captured from behind closed doors, Greatly Decreasing Arc Flash Hazards. The system from hardware to software is very user friendly with a very short learning curve. The CNX 3000 Industrial System has become a very important and useful tool in our daily work. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Product Fluke CNX 3000 is the best all around tool that every electrician should have with them at all times on every call. Wether troubleshooting an issuse with a 600 volt starter too checking a lighting circuit. This tool is an excellent product with the easy of use that has little to no training or instruction involved. Fluke has always made the best products for the electrical industry and this product just proves it. August 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very worthwhile investment for safety and productivity We have used the CNX3000 numerous times to help troubleshoot motor issues. The iFlex connectors allow us to use the meters in spaces where a regular clamp-on won't fit. Also, the remote feature can be used to monitor equipment from a safe distance and without exposure to dangerous live voltages. The logging feature also allows us to monitor equipment for that elusive intermittent glitch that you might missed if you were watching a meter. I believe the CNX3000 is a worthwhile investment to aid in troubleshooting problem equipment. August 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by The CNX 3000 is well made and provides a safe way to measure and log voltage and current on three phase systems. Fluke continues to be a good quality source for meters for heavy industry. We use the CNX 3000 to log three phase, 600 volt systems to troubleshoot intermittent heavy loading on equipment. The logged files can then be charted for easy analysis of high current periods. The CNX 3000 system allows technicians to mount the current and/or voltage meters with the starter powered off; reducing arc flash exposure, and when the starter is powered up the current and voltage can be monitored, trended, or logged easily from a laptop or the meter can display readings from three devices. Fantastic! We continue to find applications to use the meters. The Flex current loops are very useful and easy to use. July 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is a terrific time saver! The CNX product is a great time saver, as you can measure multiple items at the same time. This allows real time measuring of current in each leg as well as input voltage. Thie meter will allow you to 'see' in real time what is actually happening with the equipment. We use it a lot for VSD problems on our equipment. Ina ddition, the CNX allows measuring from a distance which reduces the need for arc-flash PPE in some instances. Another great feature is data logging to a laptop as well as the use of each meter in a stand alone mode. What a great product! May 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by I’d recommend this tool to anyone who works on commercial or industrial electrical systems. I’d recommend this tool to anyone who works on commercial or industrial electrical systems for two reasons:The first, and obvious reason, is that one person can measure from multiple locations simultaneously which saves time. The second reason is safety. Any opportunity to keep personnel at a distance from the point of measurement and possible arc flash is good practice. As expected, the DMM is solidly constructed and has a full range of measurements (True RMS AC/DC Volts & mA, continuity, resistance, diode test, capacitance and frequency). The only measurement I miss is low-Z voltage. If you need to use it while wearing an arc suit the knob/buttons are glove friendly while the display is large, well lit, and easy to read.Surprisingly, the current modules are my favorite part of the kit and I frequently use them as a stand-alone tool. I really like that the flex CTs have a 6’ cord as it allows me to position the CT at the best measuring location but have the display in the best viewing location. Anyone who’s tried to use a hard jaw clamp meter in a small MCC bucket will appreciate this. When used wirelessly with the DMM they have good range even when closed up in a cabinet, MCC bucket, or breaker panel. As with the DMM, if you need to use one while wearing an arc suit the buttons are glove friendly while the display is large, well lit, and easy to read. The voltage module is much the same as the current module. The only complaint I have with it is that it will not measure DC.I’ve played with the PC adapter, and I can see how it would be useful, but so far I haven’t come across a situation where I needed it.Overall, I'd give the kit 4.5 stars because it lacks low-z on the meter and DC volts on the voltage module.
