Vibration Testers
Frontline troubleshooting instruments help maintenance technicians to quickly understand machine health and condition on most common types of rotating equipment. They provide onboard identification and location of the 4 most common mechanical faults—bearing condition, misalignment, looseness, and unbalance. Faults are categorized as slight, moderate, serious, or extreme to help prioritize repair. Onboard context-sensitive help provides real-time tips and guidance.
Fluke 810 Vibration Tester
Compares readings to a like-new condition, eliminating the need for baseline measurements. Includes laser tachometer, triaxial accelerometer and quick disconnect cable, sensor magnet and mounting pads, Viewer PC software with USB cable, shoulder and hand straps, training DVD, ard carrying case, and smart battery pack with cable and adapter. 3-yr. warranty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT We purchased this product and good luck getting the cables you need. I have purchased this product and ordered a 20 ft cable that Fluke claims you can get. However, it was ordered 8 weeks ago and I keep getting the run around regarding the cable. The reason why you cant get the 20 ft cable is you have to purchase them in bundles of 100 cables. Fluke needs to get this problem addressed. The seven foot cable is too short for rotating equipment, it puts your technicians in harms way and Fluke should know this. If you can get a vibration tester anywhere else I recommend going there instead. I am about to return the 8500.00 paper weight. Furthermore, if someone from Fluke can get me this cable within the next week I will remove my comment and even replace it with a positive one. Good Luck Fluke. August 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by great meter for properties that prefer preventive maintenance over reactive maintenance I have used this on a few different high rise buildings on equipment ranging from very old and neglected (50 years or more) to relativly new variable frequency driven pumps and fans. The results were very impressive and accurate. I have come across bearing loosness faults that were confirmed when the motor was taken apart, and fan imbalance faults on 2 different severity levels and both were confirmed when balanced(even to the amount)I would consider this a must have for new buildings with lots of bearing eating vfd's with motors that don't have isolators. Seems to be common from the last 3 buildings I have worked at including a city water plant. The machine is very easy to set up and use and after a few machines I was confident with what I was doing and when I did have a question, fluke was quick to get back with an answerI gave it a 4 out of 5 star rating only because I wish it had more options on the software, is does have a place to insert a thermal image pdf. But other than that I can not edit the layout. I would like to be able to attach other preventive maintenance info to the same file such as lubrication schedules, belt changes and other important info. May 15, 2013

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following: The information on the vibration tester can be downloaded to a PC with the Fluke Viewer software. From there, reports, performance waveforms, and graphs can be shown. For more information, please contact a local Grainger branch, or call 1-800-323-0620.
