Answer: 
Fluke, Amprobe and Extech offer high temperature IR thermometers. The 5YB28 can do up to 1600°, the 2TKT3 can go up to 1832°, and the 14K231 can go up to 2282°.

Answer: 
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following: This meter can read temperatures up to 525°, and would not be able to show readings above that. The meter can not be directly/constantly exposed to temperatures that high.
