Rated 5 out of 5 by Though in weather. I had left my meter on the curb while proformimg some voltage drops at home on my rig and got drenched in a quick rain storm with the hood up. The Fluke 87VsII Digital Multimeter stood up to the rain water nicely. In addition, with it's huge back lit LED display, and easy to comprehend dial symbols it has made learning the basics of metering super smooth. This is a great tool that will be with me in my career for a long time. November 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 The best techs use the best tools Many years ago I was told the best techs use fluke. He was right. I've been using fluke products for around 11 years. I replaced an 87 with this 87-v. I think it's the best meter on the market. Especially with the improved backlight temperature added and a few other new features. Fluke is incredibly accurate and maintains calibration. My understanding is that other products use electrolytic capacitors and over time they loose value. But fluke doesn't. Great products. Your onky gonna buy one once every 10-20 years so just go ahead and shell out the dough for the best. I also use a fluke 77, 29 II, and a 62 Max ir thermometer. By far the best products made! 77 stil dead on accurate. July 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Large backlit screen, rugged, made in the U.S.A, Wireless temp I dont know what else i can say say aside from the confidence i have in the fluke products. Buy it once and buy it right. Bravo July 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very well build! The Fluke 87V is the father of all multimeters. These Fluke meters are tanks and can take the toughest job and survive!!! Build quality and accuracy all over. My boss has a Fluke 87 and after 12 years He checked the calibration and it was right on it...imagine after 12 years a meter that can hold the calibration like when it came out of the box!!!! That is when I realized these meters were the best and I had to have one. People that use Fluke meters will never look back to another meter brands.Hats off to Fluke for their excellent Multimeters. Rated 5 out of 5 by Built like a brick Built like a brick, the most trustworthy meter I've ever worked with my last 30 years in both professional (radar installations etc.) and private (amateur radio stuff etc.) troubleshooting electric and electronic devices and by far the most expensive I've ever buyed but worth every cent! Love it: feels really good and works with very impressive simplicity you can really rely on. A no-brainer to let me concentrate on the faulty stuff. Big time! October 13, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by AAAA+ meter If I only needed one meter, this is the one meter I would rely on. From it's quick response to it's multi applications it's THE meter to have. Does everything I could ask for in a meter of this size and cost. Use mine throughout the day to calibrate drives, to checking temps. It does it all. Not cumbersome to tote around. Lots of thought was put into this model. June 15, 2012
