Rated 5 out of 5 by Another great tool from Fluke I use many Fluke tools do to their reliability. I work in the commercial/ industrial HVAC market and Fluke have proven to be rugged. Meter is very easy to read and use. The self diag with the meter is a great tool. This meter helps me with my annuals so I have a history to look back on with my motors. June 9, 2012

Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following: The earth ground resistance feature is used to test soil ability to dissipate a charge, like in the case of a ground rod.
