I'm attempting to lift a plexiglass sheet vertically (so the lifter will not be pulling directly out of the plane of the sheet, but instead be in shear) and I want to make sure the lifter wont slide off of the sheet.

How long will the suction last?

I am working on a project that requires the suction to last for extended periods of time, although not under loading for much of that time (it just needs to take short impacts near the max load). Do you know how long the suction would last on an ideal surface both for loaded and unloaded cases? Thanks!
