Answer:
You have not provided information for what you need the switch to turn on and off. The switch you are looking at is a 24 volt switch. Most bath fans are rated for 120 volts. I recommend calling our Electrical tech team to discuss the electrical requirements for the switch. 800-472-4643

I BOUGHT A RTS-2 TIMER AND WOULD LIKE TO HOOK IT UP USING THE 3 WIRE OPTION, BUT I WOULD LIKE MORE INFORMATION ON WHAT EXACTLY THE LED DOES BEFORE I REMOVE THE JP1 ON THE CIRCUIT BOARD. THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR MY FANTECH HRV DESCRIBES A "DIAGNOSTIC LED" BUT DOES NOT GO INTO DETAIL ABOUT HOW TO USE THIS FEATURE. MORE INFORMATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!

Answer:
According to the manufacturer, the LED is an operational indicator. They also state that the RTS2 is a two wire device and no modifications should be made, or are necessary, to the circuit board. Please call us at 1-800-Grainger so we can discuss the installation in greater detail.
