This item would only be used on CPVC thin walled pipe and fittings – also known as CTS sized and it is not approved for your application. For your SCH 80 pipe and fittings you may want to consider using item number 5E533. For a proper seal you will also need to use a primer. You may also want to look at item 5E521 for a primer to use.
