Grainger has contacted the product supplier and have been advised by them of the following: The sound calibrator does work with other brands of sound level meters as long as the decibel range is within the calibrator range as well.

Yes, the calibrator can be used with other sound meters that have 1/2" diameter microphones and use a 1kHz 94 dB calibration tone.

In order for me establish a written program for hearing conservation OSHA requires a dB of 85 or higher over an 8hr. TWA. The only way to find that out is to actually do the testing. I see other products come with software, etc. (I assume that is for graphing and averaging, etc.) Will this product calculate TWA? Thanks.
