Rated 1 out of 5 by Nice kit, poor sound To ensure safe listening, I purchased this headset for our kids. It is easy to use, even with the older iPod we have. Unfortunately the sound quality and wear comfort did not even come close to our expectations. The sound is like it comes from a tin can. Even when following the detailed instructions on getting more bass this was not improved. After wearing the plugs for half an hour, the vacuum causes discomfort in the ear. August 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Made for kids, used by parent I have been using these earphones for a couple months now, and I want to share my impressions compared to other earphones. First, let me say that I am a parent of an 8 year old, but I have kept these for my personal use while commuting on the subway. The gray pads fit my ear perfectly and seal out sound effectively. Remote works just like an Apple remote, pause skip and play, volume up or down. They are not as loud as other earphones I have used, but after a couple weeks I realize that they are sufficently loud to hear all types of music, and that I was probably playing music too loud before. Also, the bass is not as boomy as other earphones, and for dance music, this may not be as exciting, but for jazz and classical music this is ideal. Sound quality is clear, balanced and quality is comparable to the mc3 earphones. The only downside to these is the one year warranty, while their adult models have a two year warranty. Otherwise, I am very pleased with these, and will get another pair for my daughter - I will keep this pair for myself! June 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by What a relief! My kids listen to their Ipods with ear buds all of the time and it is a relief to know that they won't be damaging their hearing. Not only that, there is such a difference between how loud the Ety buds get vs the buds that came with their Ipods that the kids now understand that it was a problem. I hope that I'm teaching them to protect their hearing for a lifetime. May 3, 2013
