Rated 2 out of 5 by 1reviewer.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Installing this furnace will be quick and easy; however when bringing it on-line for the first time, be ready for the copious amounts of smoke from the initial "burn-in" from the vendors paint. My customer was very nervous and alarmed about this smoke, but it eventually "burned" off and now runs as advertised. My customer is still uneasy about the furnace. I did not like the smoke or the fact that the vendor assumes this is normal as I was directed to disconnect my fire alarms when burning in this furnace via the directions. October 24, 2013

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

The blower for this heater is a separate accessory, part number 2RCG7. The manufacturer does not offer a sound rating for the blower. The blower is not speed controllable.
