Rated 4 out of 5 by It's super... Average Well, it gets the job done. I have it installed about 3 feet of pipe away from the sink it is used in, and it takes a good 10-15 seconds for the water to reach a steamy temperature, but it does get there, and a lot faster than it used to take. (Before, it would take about 5 minutes for hot water to get to the sink.)Installation is easy with compression style inlet and outlet fittings, just be warned, this little guy draws down lots of amperage. There is a temp control INSIDE of the cover that you can use to limit the temperature, but if you need to increase the temp, you will need to install a restriction valve downstream of the heater so it can get the water up in temp. Pay attention to the temperature rise per GPM, because it is just about spot-on. June 21, 2012
