I have used corn cob before for cleaning brass and having trouble finding media. Everything I have found so far crumbles to dust. The corn cob will be used over and over in the tumbler with some commercial cleaning detergent, Soft Scrub added. Eventually, the cob will turn a blackish green and need to be replaced. The tumbler uses about 6 pounds at a time.

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following: This media is not intended for use in a vibratory tumbler. You may want to consider an item like the 5UKA2, which is a corn cob vibratory tumbler media with a polishing compound already mixed in.
