I'm an oil painter and want to vent turpentine/solvent (flammable) vapors out of the room and draw clean heated air into my studio. Is this a safe unit to vent the flammable vapors out of my studio?

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and we have been advised by them of the following, this item can be used as an exhauster or a blower. The intended application of this product is for exhausting or ventilating confined spaces (man holes). While this product can exhaust fumes, the manufacturer does not have any information on your specific application. You may want to contact a local HVAC specialist to see if something can be specifically designed for you. You might also consider a system which will filter the fumes instead of exhausting the fumes.
